Terms of Service
Effective 3 November 2026
The short version
- Bible Reels is free to use. Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. There is no free trial.
- You can cancel Premium any time in your iPhone Settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
- The walking journey is for encouragement, not medical advice. Walk safely and within your limits.
- Your journal belongs to you and stays on your device.
1. Agreement
These terms apply to the Bible Reels iPhone app (“the app”), published by Bible Reels (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
2. What the app offers
The app lets you read the Bible verse by verse, keep a journal, highlight and save verses, and follow “The Road to Emmaus”, a journey of lessons and real-life tasks that moves forward with your steps, reading and prayer. We may improve, change or remove features over time.
3. Free plan and Premium
- Free includes the journey with every stop and lesson, up to 3,000 counted steps and 500 reading steps a day, and the Gospels and Psalms.
- Premium adds the whole Bible, highlights, up to 12,000 counted steps and 1,000 reading steps a day, and counts prayer and reflections towards the journey.
The daily limits decide how fast you move along the road; they don’t limit how much you can walk, read or pray.
4. Subscriptions and cancellation
- Premium is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If you reinstall the app or use a new iPhone, use “Restore purchases” in the app.
5. Health and safety
The step goals and tasks in the app are meant as encouragement. They are not medical, fitness or health advice. Step counts come from Apple Health or your iPhone’s sensors and may not be accurate. Walk safely, watch your surroundings and traffic, and don’t use the app while driving. If you have health concerns, talk to a doctor before increasing your activity.
6. Real-life tasks
Some stops suggest tasks such as giving a gift, visiting someone or fasting from something for a day. These are optional invitations. Use your own judgement, respect other people, keep yourself safe, and skip anything that isn’t right for your situation. Teenagers should talk to a parent or guardian before meeting people or fasting.
7. Bible text and content
The Bible text is the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. The lessons, reflections, prayers, design and other content in the app are our work and are protected by copyright. You may share short quotes for personal and non-commercial use, but you may not copy, sell or redistribute the app’s content as a whole.
8. Your journal and data
The journal entries, highlights and other content you create belong to you. They are stored on your device, not on our servers, so we can’t restore them if your device is lost or the app is deleted. Keep your iPhone backed up if this content matters to you.
9. Acceptable use
Please don’t try to reverse engineer, copy or tamper with the app or its subscriptions, or use it in a way that breaks the law or harms others.
10. Disclaimer and liability
We work hard to make the app helpful and reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
11. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them against you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app changes. We will update the date at the top of this page, and if a change is important we will mention it in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic and applicable European Union law, without affecting the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
